A GREAT TEACHER AND VERY INSPIRATIONAL!
TEACHING A COURSE OR SEMINAR
Soundus 'Sue' Machtley, PT, DPT, OCS, MTC is a born educator. She has experience working with students with a wide age range, ranging from Middle School through adult. She has taught all the way up to the graduate and professional level.
Sue is aware that we don't all learn information the same way. She is able to tailor the content of a lesson to a particular learning style, whether it be visual, auditory or kinesthetic (tactile). She likes to have students experience knowledge and often incorporates hands-on lab sessions to allow for deeper understanding of material.
Sue has taught a semester-long course in Surface Anatomy, Palpation and Kinesiology to graduate students at the Seattle Institute for Oriental Medicine since 2009.
In 2014, she began teaching Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Exercise Physiologists, Athletic Trainers and other healthcare professionals continuing education through Summit-Education.
